Qu’est-ce que l’IP Forwarding
ChanL’IP forwarding est le processus par lequel un appareil réseau, tel qu’un routeur, transfère ou relaie des paquets IP (Internet Protocol) d’un réseau à un autre. Cela permet la communication entre différents segments de réseau en dirigeant les paquets de données vers leurs adresses IP de destination appropriées. Lorsqu’un appareil transfère des paquets qui ne sont pas destinés à son adresse IP, il agit comme une passerelle, faisant passer les données d’un réseau à un autre, généralement entre différents sous-réseaux ou réseaux.
L’IP forwarding est essentiel dans les routeurs, mais peut également être activé sur des ordinateurs ou d’autres dispositifs réseau pour leur permettre d’agir comme intermédiaires entre les réseaux. Sans l’IP forwarding, les appareils au sein d’un réseau local ne pourraient pas communiquer avec des appareils situés en dehors de leur réseau immédiat.
