- Legal name, registration jurisdiction, operating locations, and the entity expected to hold membership or resources.
- Service region
- Where the network and organization operate, plus the RIR you believe applies and any cross-region dependencies.
- Current registry state
- Existing organization IDs, portal accounts, memberships, sponsorships, resources, and open registry requests.
- Resource need
- The operational reason for IPv4, IPv6, or ASN resources, expected use, network plan, and timing dependencies.
- Authorized contacts
- Corporate, technical, abuse, and billing owners who can review evidence and approve submissions or changes.

What is an RIR, and which one applies to my organization?
A Regional Internet Registry administers Internet number resources within a service region. AFRINIC, APNIC, ARIN, LACNIC, and RIPE NCC cover different regions; the applicable path depends on your organization, operations, requested service, and current registry policy.
Does RIR membership guarantee IPv4, IPv6, or an ASN?
No. Membership or an account does not guarantee a resource. The relevant RIR applies its current policies, evidence requirements, review process, and decisions to each request.
What should we prepare for a readiness assessment?
