For the i.lease / idolist Sell workspace
This guide explains how to use the Sell module in i.lease to publish an IP listing, track bidder activity, complete the payment stage when required, and sign the SPA after a transaction is matched.
The guide focuses on the operational flow inside Sell > My Listings, Sell > My Bids, Pay Now, and SPA Sign.
Before You Start
- Make sure your company has access to the Sell workspace in idolist.
- On first access, i.lease may require you to review and sign Platform Bidding Terms & Conditions (MAS) before using Buy or Sell.
- Prepare the IP prefix you want to list and confirm it is available for marketplace use.
- Decide whether the listing should require LOA and how long you want bidding to stay open.
Main Pages in Sell
| Page | Purpose | Typical next action |
|---|---|---|
| Marketplace | Browse the active buy-side demand side of the market. | Review market demand and compare against your own listing strategy. |
| My Listings | Create and manage sell listings for your IP resources. | Add a new listing, open detail, and monitor bidder activity. |
| My Bids | Track transaction-side actions that are assigned to your seller account. | Continue to pay-now, sign, review matched transactions, or respond to follow-up actions. |
Step 1: Open Sell > My Listings
Use Sell > My Listings as the main operational page for managing all of your sell-side listings. Each card shows the listed prefix, bidding activity, current best bid, and the current transaction stage.
- Review existing cards to understand which listings are active, matched, or already signed.
- Check the bid count and current bid before deciding whether a listing needs further review.
- Use Add New Listing to publish another prefix into the marketplace.
Step 2: Create a New Sell Listing
Click Add New Listing and complete the sell-side form. In the Sell module, you are choosing the exact prefix to expose to the market and whether LOA should be required during the transfer process.
- Select the target IP Prefix from the prefixes available to your company.
- Choose whether LOA Required should be Yes or No.
- Set the Bidding Deadline and confirm the calculated end date.
- Review the note about automatic matching if no manual selection is made before the deadline.
- Click Submit to publish the listing.
If a listing should only proceed with formal letter handling, keep LOA Required enabled so the later transaction flow reflects that expectation.
Step 3: Review Bids in Listing Detail
Open any sell listing card to enter the detail page. This page shows the listing terms, bid history, current best bid, and extension status for the transaction.
- Check the listed IP Prefix, RIR, and Total IPs.
- Confirm whether LOA Required is set correctly for the transaction.
- Review Buyout Price, Minimum Price, and Current Best Bid.
- Use Bidder History to see bid progression over time.
- Check the header status and the Payment Extension block for the current transaction stage.
Step 4: Complete the Pay Now Stage When Required
After a match is confirmed, i.lease can direct the seller flow into Pay Now. The page shows the transaction amount, remaining payable balance, service fee, and payment deadline.
- Review the order section carefully, including the IP Range, unit price, quantity, and total.
- Check Frozen Deposit, Remaining Payable, and Platform Service Fee.
- Confirm the Balance Due At time so the case does not move into breach.
- Choose the available payment path, such as Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
- If required, upload payment proof in the Upload Payment Proof section.
Step 5: Sign the SPA
Once the matched case reaches the signing stage, continue to the SPA page. This page shows the case number, role, signature state for both parties, and the preview/download actions for the contract.
- Confirm the Transaction number, Case No., and My Role.
- Review the signature status for both buyer and seller.
- Use Preview Contract before completing any signature action.
- If the case is signable, fill in the signature fields and confirm.
- Use the signed preview and download actions to keep a final copy for internal records.
If the page shows This SPA case is currently not signable, the case has already moved beyond manual signing or is waiting on a different backend state.
Related Operational Notes
- Marketplace is useful for comparing live demand conditions, but your own listings are managed from My Listings.
- My Bids may remain empty until the platform creates seller-side actionable records for your account.
- Status-driven actions can change over time, so always use the buttons shown on the current page as the source of truth.
- For LOA-dependent listings, make sure your internal team is ready to provide the required transfer documents when the case advances.
Quick Workflow
- Open Sell > My Listings.
- Use Add New Listing to publish the target prefix.
- Track bids and transaction state from the listing detail page.
- Finish the Pay Now step when the case reaches the payment stage.
- Review and complete the SPA signing stage when the case becomes signable.
